List building is one of my favorite subjects and you know why?

You guessed it, because it’s the secret to longevity online.

Google will change their algorithms (and knock those hard-earned #1 positions to the dirt) and search engines will come and go, but….

Your list will last forever.  No one can take it from you – no matter what happens online!

As long as you provide valuable, information-packed content to your loyal followers, you’re destined to make a good living online.

And don’t be fooled….your subscribers know the difference between value and crap.

And, you’re subscribers are only as good as your content.

What does that mean?

Simply put, if you offer up generic, spun garbage, you’ll get subscribers that are bottom feeders.  They’ll take whatever you have to give because it’s free.

And, they’ll probably never buy anything from you because quality breeds trust.  Crap breeds more crap.
So, why bother?

However, if you take the time to write top-quality, helpful content, you’ll accrue grateful subscribers who will appreciate all you have to offer.

They’ll keep coming back for more, and they’ll be happy to buy from you because….

They trust you!

You took the time to over-deliver.   You took the time to answers their questions and solve their problems.  You forged a relationship of trust with them.

That’s the secret to building a list!

For example: who would you buy from…

The guy who serves you a frosty mug of iced cold beer with a smile, or
The guy with an attitude who gives you a glass of warm brew, with no
head.
